About the Rug
According to Mapuche beliefs, understanding virtue as "life cleansed of evils" and "evils" as embodied in disease. The tree of virtue is covered with red bark; symbolically, the red is the menstrual blood that covers the walls of the uterus and its liquid environment acts as an activating element for all biological processes.

Tassels
The Tree of Virtue comes without tassels. If you wish them on the shorter ends of your rug, please send us a short email following order.

Production & Delivery
In the first week we dye our hand-spun wool. From second until third week, we weave and/or knot the rug. Then we wash it four times and dry under the sun each time. Afterwards it is stretched before pack and ship it your way six weeks after your order. Total delivery time is approximately seven weeks.
