About the Rug
Organic forms, patterns, and structures are guiding forces in the artist rug 'Running Roots'. According to the artist, ’What I find is not what you find. What I see, you see differently’. Sinding's approach demonstrates a personal relationship between the design itself and the observer, creating a sense of intimacy in the bold design. Nina Sinding’s design refers to the state of uncontrolled consciousness, where the flow is halfway guided, halfway creating a life of its own. The final shapes are revealing forms, patterns, structures that resemble nature.
