Frances is a UK based multidisciplinary Textile Designer specializing in Rug design. Her practice explores materiality as a tangible form of social fabric which can be interpreted through environmental soundscapes, capturing deconstructed rhythms of places, objects, and memories by creating a visual map of sound. Through freehand drawing she uses her hand as an instrument of the mind, working closely with her subconscious- an imperfect tool.
